2,100 sq ft — Wellness Retreat

Carved into a disused quarry outside the medina, Bathhouse Quarry treats water as the organizing material. Tadelakt walls are troweled by hand until they hold a soft sheen, and every room is planned around a single shaft of daylight. The result is a retreat that feels excavated rather than built.

“We wanted the sound of water to be the loudest thing in the building.”
